An online lending customer has trusted Advanced Net Providers (ANP) for their voice and data infrastructure needs for the past 6 years. As a trusted technology partner, ANP held a few business conversations centered on current pain points and growth plans. Concerns were raised by the customer over server and software EOL and the option of a fully managed Office 365 solution was presented as a convenient and secure solution to meet their dynamic business needs.

Quotes were generated on managed Office 365 with migration from several TBI providers. NaviSite won the business, partially because the customer already utilized Time Warner Cable for Internet and knew migration would be an arduous task. Having the same provider managing data and SaaS could make migration run smoother. One of the many challenges that occurs during migration is improper testing and corruption of data once migration is complete. Utilizing a single provider allows the customer to benefit from less carrier finger-pointing and more collaboration between business units to identify the source of the corruption. As often, either the customer environment or the carrier circuit are to blame.

Other reasons NaviSite was selected include a detailed project management process for migration (including both NaviSite and customer roles and responsibilities), escalation protocol and 24×7 service and support; a great benefit for a small business who would not staff an around-the-clock IT rep. ANP sold a total of 425 Office 365 licenses with migration on a 36-month contract for a total cost of $260,000.
