Comcast Business Case Study
A financial institution with 16 locations in the Midwest and growing, had a legacy IT infrastructure that could no longer support increasing bandwidth needs. The IT Manager wanted to find a new carrier that would not only fulfill its bandwidth needs, but also provide cost efficient, diverse, redundant network services from the local telephone company.
The IT Manager turned to its long-time technology advisor, a TBI partner who has worked with the customer for over 30 years. The partner engaged TBI and recommended Comcast Business as the best-suited provider for the customer’s connectivity needs due to its available bandwidth, cost efficiency and diversity of network.
Together with the partner, a Comcast Business Partner Sales Manager and Solution Engineer met with the IT Manager and consulted on the company’s existing infrastructure. The team provided visual diagrams of Comcast’s suggested solutions so the customer could easily understand the benefits and setup of the network. Comcast’s solution in addition to their business continuity and disaster recovery options met the customer’s requirements, being truly diverse from the LECs and exceeding its expectations for network performance.
The customer purchased Comcast’s Ethernet Network Service (ENS) for connectivity between the 16 sites along with Ethernet Dedicated Internet (EDI) for internet access. A contract was signed at an MRC of $13,500.40 over 36 months, resulting in a TCV of $486,014.40.
Comcast Business continues to expand fiber-based Ethernet services, learn more.
