Comcast Business Case Study

A growing pharmaceutical company had big plans for expansion and needed a connection to access Microsoft Azure for their employees.

Through a referral from an existing customer, TBI partner Chorus Communications was brought in for their expertise. With aggressive growth plans, both domestically and internationally, Chorus worked with the customer to equip their facility and meet all industry regulations.

The pharmaceutical company was building a new office. As a full-service technology consulting firm, Chorus helped them from the ground up, beginning with infrastructure. Network and cloud connectivity were assessed next with the help of TBI. Since the pharmaceutical company was already a satisfied Comcast Business customer, the new location fit within the provider’s rapidly expanding footprint, so they purchased Comcast Business fiber.

With data in the cloud, the customer also needed a direct cloud connection to Azure. Comcast Business’s cloud connect solution, Cloud Priority Path, met all the compliance requirements of the pharmaceutical company and offered a direct connection to their Azure data center, speeding up access to cloud-based files and improving efficiencies.

Contracts were signed for 100 Mbps Internet and Cloud Priority Path. Total contract value exceeded $125,000 over 36 months, resulting in an MRC of more than $3,500. The customer has tripled in size over the past several years and is continuing to expand overseas, with Chorus and TBI helping them source international network, mobility and other technology solutions. Chorus chooses to work with TBI for the employee relationships, provider selection, knowledge share and available resources. Chorus is a Comcast Business Gold Partner and President’s Club partner.
