ACC Business Ethernet Case Study

ACC Business Case Study

A large private broadband provider for real estate complexes was in search of a connectivity solution to support newly acquired sites. The company has a national fiber network backbone that connects hundreds of MDU communities in more than 40 states and consistently expands, adding new sites on a regular basis.

Knowing additional bandwidth was needed to support the new locations, the Director of Purchasing began to vet provider options. In the past, they experienced difficulties working with providers due to lack of support during the implementation and provisioning phases. The Director was referred to a TBI partner, and the partner engaged their TBI channel manager for technical support and provider sourcing.

ACC Business presented AT&T’s Switched Ethernet, which matched the customer’s needs. This solution allowed the customer to maintain control of all the circuits for each location and ensure secure connections. 1GB connections were installed at each individual site, and each data center has a 10GB connection to centralize security and manages all connections directly from the data center.

Selecting ACC Business for the job was an easy choice for the customer, not only due to the solution’s security and ease-of-management, but also because of the cost effectiveness. ACC cut costs by aggregating all the connections and purchasing data at their data center, making it a great value for the price. Plus, the customer appreciated ACC Business’s customer support throughout pre-sales and post sales provisioning. It was a key differentiator for the customer to have ACC Project Managers that were hands-on; the PM’s proactively sent order updates on a weekly basis.

Behind the scenes, TBI operations managed the opportunity from contract to install including provisioning. Working in tandem with ACC Business support, TBI assisted in keeping the customer up-to-date throughout the implementation process.

After the installation was complete, the customer expressed their satisfaction with the overall quality of the circuits and performance. As the customer continues to add sites, they will undoubtedly turn to ACC Business to support their network expansion.
