The customer has over 80 locations across the US and is looking to double in size over the next several years. With a network built on [bonded] T1’s, the assisted living facilities consistently experienced network crashes hampering their ability to effectively operate. The infrastructure was so bad, in fact, that they opted to pay early termination fees to get out of their contract two years early.

TBI and the agent partner engaged with Comcast and Time Warner Cable in their respective territories and offered fiber and Ethernet at an aggressive price point. While both carriers absorbed the construction costs to lay the infrastructure and migrate voice to a hosted solution, they gained access to a growing client. The new technology has improved the customer’s network, allowed for scale and is offered at a better price point.

The healthcare group has begun installation on over 30 of their 80+ locations and will continue their upgrades in three phases. Phase one contract value exceeds $1.0 million over 36-months.
